What's your Beer Style?

WOW, there are many different styles and varieties of beers that it is just simply amazing. If you want that one bar that houses cider and lager, then World of Beers is the place to be. But, I guess having over 500 beers who would expect anything different. I want to go through the main different types of beers and give some examples. I learned a lot when doing my research and hopefully you will too!

I want to start with my all time favorite type of beer. CIDER! If you have ever experienced the taste of cider you would sure know! Ciders have a distinguishing taste; they don’t have the harsh beer taste or the taste of light beer either. Instead, they have a unique taste of apple juice. That is right, cider is made with apple juice. I found this to be extremely interesting but it made sense why the taste is so enjoyable. Examples of ciders are: Strongbow, Blackthorn, Woodchuck, and Magners

Another style of beer is
lager. Lager however has many styles of its own. There are Pilsner, bocks, and marzen’s… just to name a few. The main thing with lager beers is that they are made from the yeast at the bottom of the vessel. Lagers are made in cooler climates as well and are lighter and drier in taste then ales. Light beer is also considered part of the lager family. Light beer can be looked at as the low- alcohol beer or the diet of beers. Some examples of lagers include; Yuengling, Fosters, Blue Ribbon and bud light.

Yeast is an important ingredient in beer and depending on which part of the vessel can determine the beer you are brewing. Ale beers get their yeast from the top of the vessels and are not made in such cool climates; the thermometer is usually raised a little bit. Since ale’s are made at a warmer temperature you are more likely to be served a warm beer when ordering ale. Sam Adams, Guinness extra stout, and Newcastle Brown ale, are all examples of ale beers.

World of Beers my one stop spot for a great beers has a wide variety of each style and many more styles. You will never get bored with just one style of beer and they always have new beers coming in. So next time you want a beer, try something new. Try an Ale or a Cider.

World of Beers- The beer lovers place

Have you had the experience to travel abroad? Have you tasted beer that were so amazing but hard to find again? Are you in search of imported beers but unable to find a fun and exciting location which houses them? If so, I have just the world for you.WORLD of BEERS!

World Of Beers In Coconut Creek Fl

World of Beers is the first of my stops. This location is a beer goers’ fantasy! This venue has more than 500 beers to choose from and has over 40 beers on tap that are always changing. They also have a wide selection of wines. Unfortunately for those who go more for the liquor and mixed drinks... this is not the place for you.

WOB is located in the Promenade of Coconut Creek, which is like the “downtown” of Coconut Creek. There are many shops, which surround the location along with plenty of places to grab a bite to eat.

The environment is for all ages... Well those who are 21 and up. However, during the day hours the Promenade is a great place to bring family. There are plenty of tables outside to enjoy our nice Florida weather. However, if the outdoors is not for you, then enjoy a seat inside around the bar or at a booth.

Inside, customers will find plenty of flat screen televisions to watch all the sporting events and a plenty of beer. WOB has a massive amount of glass cases, which allow the customers to see all they beers they offer... Which I must say it gets overwhelming.

WOB has a friendly and knowledge staff that makes the experience neighborly and one that is always changing. You will never go to WOB and have the same experience twice!

Welcome

Are You Thirsty for Beer?!

In the next few months I am going to take you on a journey around the Palm Beach and Broward County area in search of some great Microbreweries.

This blog is going to explore many imported beers, the difference in beer types as well as the beers with the highest percentages of alcohol. There will be some tastings too! :) I want to give you and insight as to what locations are great hang out spots and what locations are just nice to chill at. This blog will touch on the environment and location of microbreweries to help give an idea of the night you are looking to have.

One of my main focuses will be on "World Of Beers" a local bar in Coconut Creek, Florida. I will explore every level of the bar and all that is has to offer... Which is a lot. I will blog about Brick House in Fort Lauderdale that is such a great location and then move up to Palm Beach County and explore a few in that area.

Please feel free to add comments to my blog, make suggestions and try to emerge yourself in the experience I am going to enjoy.
